FAQ

Excavator financing questions

Yes, and it's common. Get pre-approved before the sale so you know your ceiling — auction purchases usually settle fast, and a pre-approval means you aren't scrambling for funds.

Hours matter more than model year on excavators. A well-documented 6,000-hour machine with service records often underwrites better than a neglected low-hour unit.

Established contractors with solid credit frequently qualify for zero down. Newer businesses or higher-hour machines typically need 10–20%.

Pre-qualification uses a soft pull, which does not affect your score. A hard inquiry is run only once you accept terms and ask us to prepare documents.

Requests up to $150,000 are typically application-only for established businesses: one page plus the equipment quote. Above that, expect to provide two years of business tax returns and recent bank statements.
